TOPAS domestic wastewater treatment plants
Basic information

TOPAS domestic wastewater
treatment plants
TOPAS 5 to TOPAS 300 domestic wastewater treatment plants (for 5–300 persons) are used for treatment of all wastewater (including wastewater from washing machines and dish washers) from individual sources of contamination. These are mainly the following:
- family houses,
- recreational objects and cottages,
- hotels and pensions,
- restaurants.
wastewater treatment plants are delivered as complete products, including the lid without the necessity to purchase any additional adapters according to the depth of the inflow piping. For production of the skeleton frame of TOPAS wastewater treatment plants then polypropylene material is used which ensures the long term service life of the product.
In the Czech Republic wastewater treatment plants are certified by the SZÚ Brno testing laboratory (to see certificate – click here). At the same time, attestations or certificates have been issued from the following countries: Germany (Deutsches Institut für Bautechnik), Romania, France, Poland and Russia. The original technical solution of TOPAS wastewater treatment plants is protected by international patent No 282 411.
Description of activity

Membrane air blower
TOPAS wastewater treatment plants work on the principle of the treatment of wastewater by means of activated sludge in upward substances. The air that is necessary for the life of the micro organisms is provided by a small membrane air blower with silent operation which is located directly in the plant. The air blower together with the added three-way electric valve is also used to power the air pump which ensures the pumping of water between the individual chambers of the wastewater treatment plant.

Sizes of TOPAS wastewater treatment plants
TOPAS wastewater treatment plants are delivered in the following sizes:
T5, T8, T10, T15, T20, T30, T40, T50, T75, T100, T125, T150, T200, T250, T300
The number for the size of the wastewater treatment plant states the number of population equivalent (PE), for which the respective wastewater treatment plant is constructed. At present 1PE corresponds to the consumption of 150l of water per day.
